Read-a-thon: Hour Six

Okay, I made not a single page of progress in the last hour, because lunch and our trip to the bank. But it was a good outing. The kids even got snacks and a bookmark in their swag bags, so that was a nice thing to support our afternoon of reading!

Jefferson however, is leaving me in the dust. He finished I Survived, and has moved on to Big Nate: Say Good-bye to Dork City, which he has made a huge amount of progress in.

Big Nate: Say Good-bye to Dork City

Andrew is taking Solomon out for a shopping adventure soon, so back to the serious reading for me!

Books read: Jen – 2, Jefferson – 2
Pages read: Jen – 118, Jefferson – 382

  1. I love when my children can join me for the read-a-thons…. this year they are scattered so I am on my own but it is such a great thing to read as a family. Hurrah for bookmarks! Enjoy your afternoon with them and keep going! 🙂
